Ben 10 is the popular animated television series which has had a follow-up named Ben 10: Alien Force. Based on the cartoon series, the Ben 10: Alien Force video game was released. Now D3Publisher announces that the latest game in the Ben 10 video game franchise, Ben 10 Alien Force: Vilgax Attacks will be coming for the Xbox 360, PS2, PSP, Nintendo DS, and the Wii. The game will have a totally original story which takes Ben and his friends to outer space as they set foot on planets not seen before in the series.

“The best of the Ben 10 franchise is rolled into one big adventure in Ben 10 Alien Force: Vilgax Attacks, showcasing eleven playable characters as well as favorite enemies, allies and locations from throughout Ben’s world,” Kim Motika, VP of worldwide sales and operations at D3Publisher, remarked. “With an original storyline, Ben 10 Alien Force: Vilgax Attacks will take players on an intergalactic journey in never-before-seen alien home worlds that is sure to please both fans of the television series and video games.”

Ben 10 Alien Force: Vilgax Attacks gives players the opportunity to play as Ben Tennyson and his alien forms, Big Chill, Brainstorm, Cannonbolt, ChromaStone, Echo Echo, Goop, Humungosaur, Jet Ray, Spidermonkey and Swampfire. Players will be able to use all the alien powers such as the ability to freeze enemies, manipulate fire and harness electricity. Ben and his friends travel to various planets in a spaceship which can be upgraded along the way. The DS version of the game will exclusively feature the Upchuck alien form and its powers.

Ben 10 Alien Force: Vilgax Attacks for the DS is being developed by 1st Playable Productions, while the other versions are in development by Papaya Studio Corporation. The game mixes elements of combat with puzzle-solving and platform gameplay and is expected to be available at retail in North America in the fall of 2009.
